Practice Areas
How I help
My practice is built around four areas of law that touch the most important transitions in life: planning for what you'll leave behind, building a future across borders, navigating relationships and family change, and handling what comes after a loved one passes.
Every matter is different, but the approach is the same — careful listening, clear communication, plans built around the actual people in front of me. Below is a brief overview of each practice area. Click through to learn more about the work I do in each.
Etate Planning
The foundation of my practice. I help individuals and families build estate plans that work in real life — wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, asset protection, and cross-border and pre-immigration planning. Every plan is built from scratch, never from a template.
Immigration
I represent individuals, families, and businesses across the full range of family-based, employment-based, investor, and corporate immigration matters. From marriage-based green cards to EB-5 investor visas to employer sponsorships, I work with clients through the full immigration journey — in English and Mandarin.
Family Law
A planning-focused, non-adversarial family law practice. I help with prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, mediation, uncontested dissolution, legal separation, and collaborative divorce. The goal is clarity, dignity, and outcomes that hold up over the long term.
Probate
Caring, thoughtful guidance after a loved one passes. I help executors, trustees, and beneficiaries through the full California probate process — administration, court filings, accountings, and the practical work of settling an estate. With patience and attention to the family going through it.
